AQUEEL AHMAD
A talented ceramist and sculptor, Aqueel Ahmad graduated from Faculty of Fine Arts, M.S. University, Baroda.
Recipient of National Scholarship from Human Resources Development, Ministry of Culture of India, Ahmad has participated in over 30 exhibitions and workshops across India including the Triennial International Ceramic camp organized by Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi, a solo exhibition at Nazar art gallery and a group show curated by Balbir Singh Katt at Cymroza art gallery, Bombay.
Emerging from a long and attentive practice, Ahmad''s sculptures have a unique organic feel to them. He is skillful in glass and fiber casting, copper enameling, mould making and stone carving.
